Special Events

During the camp season, special days and added surprises are introduced to enrich the camp experience. Events such as Birthday Ball, Carnival, Sing, Olympic Days and Jamboree are Camp Mataponi traditions.

Scavenger and counselor hunts, talent shows and campfires enliven evening fun. In addition to the intra-camp and inter-camp events, campers are taken on excursion to the nearby Maine coastline and National Forests.
